5. cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small text files that are automatically created by your internet browser and stored on your end device (e.g. PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device and do not contain any viruses, Trojans or other malware. Information is stored in the cookie that is related to the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we gain direct knowledge of your identity.

The use of cookies serves, among other things, to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use cookies to recognise whether you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site. Furthermore, in order to optimise user-friendliness, we use cookies that are stored on your end device for a certain fixed period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it is automatically recognised whether you have already been to our site and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

A distinction must be made between cookies that are absolutely necessary to provide the services on this website (necessary cookies) and those that are not absolutely necessary for this purpose (non-necessary cookies).

Without the use of necessary cookies, this website will not function properly. Such cookies are used exclusively by us (so-called first party cookies) and all information stored in these cookies is sent only to this website.

Necessary cookies are used regardless of whether you have given your consent. The legal basis for data processing in this case is our legitimate interests, i.e. our interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our website and our services (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) EU-DSGVO).

Non-essential cookies used by us can be divided into the categories preference, statistics and marketing. Marketing cookies are used by external companies (so-called third party cookies) to collect information about the websites you visit in order to create targeted advertising, for example.

Non-essential cookies are only used after you have given your consent. By giving your consent to the use of the cookies listed there and selected by you in a so-called consent tool provided by us on this website, you agree to the use of these cookies. In this case, the legal basis for the data processing is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a) EU-DSGVO).

You can adjust your cookie settings individually at any time by activating or deactivating individual cookies - with the exception of necessary cookies - in the Consent Tool. Link: Cookie settings

You can set your web browser in such a way that the storage of cookies on your end device is generally prevented or you are asked each time whether you agree to the setting of cookies. Once cookies have been set, you can delete them at any time. How this works is described in the help function of the respective web browser.

A general deactivation of cookies may possibly lead to functional restrictions of this website.

6 Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on these websites, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

The purpose of the data processing is to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on activities on the website. Further associated services are then to be provided on the basis of the use of the website and the internet. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. In addition, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: Browser Add On to deactivate Google Analytics.

In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking on this link. This will install an opt-out cookie on your device. This will prevent the collection by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser in the future, as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

7 Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible - although it is currently unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that the operators of such libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

8. embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells Youtube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your Youtube account first.

If a Youtube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.

If you have deactivated the saving of cookies for the Google Ad programme, you will not have to expect any such cookies when watching Youtube videos. However, Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Further information on data protection at "Youtube" can be found in the provider's data protection statement at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

9 Google AdWords

Our website uses Google conversion tracking. If you have reached our website via an ad placed by Google, Google AdWords will set a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across AdWords customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can reject the setting of a cookie required for this - for example, by means of a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies or by setting your browser in such a way that cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com" are blocked.

Please note that you may not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not want any measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.

10 Facebook Pixel

Within our online offer, the so-called "Facebook pixel" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are a resident of the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"), is used due to our legitimate interests in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer and for these purposes.

Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).

With the help of the Facebook pixel, it is possible for Facebook to determine the visitors to our online offer as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called "Facebook ads"). Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can further track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion").

The Facebook pixel is directly integrated by Facebook when our websites are called up and can save a so-called cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, your visit to our online offering will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous for us, so it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and can be used by Facebook and for its own market research and advertising purposes. If we should transmit data to Facebook for matching purposes, this data is encrypted locally in the browser and only then sent to Facebook via a secure https connection. This is done solely for the purpose of matching data that has also been encrypted by Facebook.

The processing of the data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook's data usage policy. Accordingly, general information on the display of Facebook ads can be found in Facebook's data usage policy: www.facebook.com/policy.php. Specific information and details about the Facebook Pixel and how it works can be found in Facebook's help section: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616.

You can opt out of the Facebook Pixel's collection and use of your data to display Facebook Ads. To set which types of ads are displayed to you within Facebook, you can visit the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions there on the settings for usage-based advertising: www.facebook.com/settings. The settings are platform independent, i.e. they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

You can prevent the collection of your data by means of the Facebook pixel by activating or deactivating individual cookies - with the exception of necessary cookies - in the cookie settings. Link: Cookie settings.

11. storage period and data deletion

In particular, your personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed. Thereafter, the data will be deleted unless storage is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to process under Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims. A legal obligation is represented by the statutory retention obligations, which, for example, amount to 10 years (for accounting data incl. order and payment data, payroll accounting) or 6 years (for commercial correspondence). The data will be blocked for the duration of the retention period, after which they will be deleted.

12. data subject rights

You have the right

to revoke your consent at any time in accordance with Art. 7 Para. 3 EU-DSGVO. This has the consequence that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by your revocation;

to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 EU-DSGVO. In doing so, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data if it has not been collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;

in accordance with Art. 16 EU-DSGVO, to demand the immediate correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us;

in accordance with Art. 17 EU-DSGVO, to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;

in accordance with Art. 18 EU-DSGVO, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure and we no longer require the data, but you need it for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO;

in accordance with Art. 20 EU-DSGVO, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transferred to another controller;

complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 EU-DSGVO. The competent supervisory authority is the State Data Protection Commissioner of the federal state in which our company is based. An overview of the state data protection commissioners and their contact details can be found at https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

13 Right of objection

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f) EU-DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO, provided that there are grounds for doing so which arise from your particular situation. In the event of your justified objection, we will review the situation and either discontinue or adapt the data processing or show you our compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we will continue the processing.

14 Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

We also use SSL or TLS encryption (SSL = Secure Sockets Layer; TLS = Transport Layer Security; SSL is the previous designation of TLS) within your website visit. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://", and also by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

15 Status and possible changes to this data protection declaration

This data protection declaration is valid as of May 2018.

You can access and print out the current data protection declaration at any time on our website at www.247group.de/datenschutz.
