The Grubs brand

The Foster family has been making shoes since 1776. Grubs is the result of investing in the most advanced materials and technologies on our mission to create the most comfortable footwear on the market. All Grubs boots are manufactured to the highest quality standards to meet the most demanding requirements. This is nothing new, as eight generations of the Grubs family have been making the finest athletic footwear since 1776. Joe Foster, was a founding member of the AAA and made handmade shoes for the 1924 Olympic stars, Harold Abrams and Eric Liddell, featured in "The Winner's Hour". His sons founded Reebok in 1960. David Forster and his wife Jan launched the neoprene revolution in sports and agricultural boots in 2000. At Grubs, tradition has led us to offer you the most comfortable performance footwear today. Grubs Technology®: All Grubs boots are designed based on four characteristics that are important in the following order: Comfort, Warmth, Waterproofness and Grip. All Grubs boots have these unique properties and are therefore superior products!

COMFORT: The stretchable boot shaft made of 5 mm INSUFOAM-ULTRA™ allows the boot to fit almost any calf circumference. The 6 mm NITROCELL™ footbed provides soft underfoot cushioning for a sporty boot feel. HEXZORB™ technology absorbs the shock of heel strike for all-day comfort. The SUPERDRI™ lining wicks moisture away from the wearer's foot to prevent a sweaty and uncomfortable feeling. It is fungus and rot resistant and therefore does not smell like cotton booties.

WARMTH: The 6 mm NITROCELL™ footbed has one million microscopic nitrogen bubbles that insulate the wearer from cold surfaces. The 5.0 technology: the full bootie lining wraps the entire foot in 5 mm INSUFOAM-ULTRA™ for a comfort range of -20°C to +30°C. The 8.5 technology: the full bootie lining wraps the entire foot in 8.5 mm INSUFOAM-ULTRA™ with additional 3 mm HIGHLOFT™ room insulation for a comfort range of -40°C to +15C.

WATERPROOF: All Grubs boots are double tested during production at bootie and final quality control and are waterproof all the way to the top.

GRIP: All Grubs soles are specially designed to give you a secure grip on a variety of surfaces.
